“A Forgotten Generation” - 100 years history of rural community and agricultural relics in Co Laois.

Annie Holland delves into the history of rural artefacts and the lives of elderly members of the community. In this immersive show of photography and printed ceramic she aims to capture and share first-hand accounts of a bygone era, preserving elements of the the rich heritage and personal stories of rural life. The work is intended to show the deep connections between people, their memories, and the objects that symbolize their past.

Final part of the exhibition to be exhibited at Aylward’s Rural heritage museum, Durrow R32 Y5C9 opens 3-6pm on Sunday 22nd June and by appointment afterwards.
